Breaking away from a successful band to go solo can go a lot of ways. Haven’t heard anything that Liam Gallagher has put out on the side, but I’ve listened to exponentially more Robbie Williams than Take That.

Pulp is a unique band with a pure British sound and a very nostalgic thematic. But Jarvis is the heart of the band so this comes out sounding just as good. Perhaps a bit more polished, a bit more European. Less pulp, 100% flavour.
