Richard Hawley – Lady’s Bridge – 8⭐

Many many moons ago I watched Banksy’s film which ended with “Tonight the Streets Are Ours”. Loved the song, didn’t enjoy the rest of the artists’ songs, but those were my heavy-metal days. However it did introduce me to that area of art rock and chamber pop, like Divine Comedy and Fleet Foxes.

Not sure how I encountered Richard Hawley again but the man sure is talented. This album’s great, high quality, fantastic to simply listen and get lost in. If there’s someone whose albums I’d love to get on vinyl soon, it’s Hawley.
