Abor & Tynna – Bittersüß – 7⭐

After Eurovision I added, of course, a few songs to my playlist. But not everyone had a lot to offer. Laura Thorn doesn’t have any other songs released, Tommy Cash is weirder than Espresso Macchiato… and with the exception of Lucio Corsi who has some good songs, in the end I found myself in the German corner of Tidal and I gave a listen to what else Germany’s entry had in their repertoire.

Bittersüß, from Abor & Tynna, is filled with that electric and energetic pop-rock that Germany is good at. It has some local influences like Scooter and Kraftwerk, maybe even some Juli, but they’re doing their own thing and are good at it. “Baller” and “Rotkäppchen” are more dancey, but there are quite a few softer songs which I found to be a welcome surprise.

What can I say, Germany is always getting awesome artists out and I’m looking forward to hear more from these two brothers. A solid 7/10⭐, even 8 if the mood is right.
